Academy News
By the Grace of God, the staff and children at both Academies have stayed relatively healthy and free from COVID over the past couple of years. The Academies have periodically suspended in person learning but are currently meeting again. Currently there is some political issues going on in Manipur where the Blessings Academy is located, so please keep them in your prayers.
Construction of the 2nd floor of the school in West Bengal (Grace Academy) should be complete by early 2025. COVID restrictions, supply issues, and worker shortages has delayed this project. Two additional classrooms at Yeasom Village (Blessing Academy) were completed in the Fall of 2021 and the Children’s Home expansion was completed in Feb 2023.
Both Academies have reported that the children continue to complete testing requirements, and the students are doing exceptionally well and are excelling in all areas. It’s very exciting to see these children doing well, especially the children from the tea garden.
